I don't really like singling someone out because of their school either for positive or negative reasons.
I don't like the security man appearing to try to intimidate the ukulele man.
I do like that he carried on singing, and that the security man didn't escalate.

I like to think the Britain is one of the few countries where that is likely to unfold exactly like it did.

The BBC version shows he cleaned up his act after being given the evils. He carried on singing though.

The LibDem battle bus was lurking over the other side of the industrial estate where I work last week.
They were visiting Dymag Wheels, who've just had a big hand-out to develop their new carbon-composite car wheels.
They never went near the town centre, despite Chippenham being a largely LibDem town, and the whole thing seemed remarkably low-key. There was a bloke sat in a Range Rover in a dark suit, shaved head, aviator shades, and one of those transparent curly leads going up behind his ear.
Not sure what he was doing there... 😉
I've noticed the striking lack of posters in gardens and windows, too: not sure if it's indifference these days, or people are afraid to show their party allegiances for fear of having a brick lobbed through a window.

It's not just a random poke at his schooling, though; is it? The Eton 'set' are deeply influential in the political establishment, some might say to the point of excluding those from less wealthy origins.

Comprehensive school education for me, 1,600 pupils, 34-36 to a class, career advice was either apprenticeship or the army. looking back the purpose of school seemed to be the complete eradication of any aspirational thought or individualism. Which I'm guessing is fairly different to Eton.

Perhaps you're confusing level with content. Certain educational establishments will provide their pupils with advantages that are not in the least connected to academic aptitude, let alone intelligence.

Personally, I think the freedom to do that is what has stopped us having a full blown revolution in this country. Its a bit like that little release valve on the top of a pressure cooker, it keeps the pressure at a sustainable level. For that reason I think all of these hecklers should be stopped immediately and lets get on with properly ferking up these priviliged bar stewards soon as!
