OK, so, Mrs Geordie's sister's fella (still with me?) is visiting in a couple of weeks time, and he has some bizarre affection for Alloa Athletic aka the Wasps. We're planning to take in a match, so I've been trying to locate a decent real ale pub in the town to celebrate/drown our sorrows in. I've tried both The Good Pub Guide and The Good Beer Guide with no luck. With the likes of such brewing genius' as The William Bros in town, I would've expected there to be at least one decent watering hole.

Can you anyone sling any suggestions my way?
Cheers,

Andy

There is, but as I'm not a drinker I don't know it...will ask a couple of mates who go out drinking in Alloa...

The Woolpack in Tillicoultry has always been a fave of mine though it's been a while.
