Hi
The GF and I have been planning our summer holiday
We're thinking of where to go in August and France ticks most of the boxes
Im into bikes and her and the kids are into pony treking kind of stuff
Being devious I was wondering that there must be places that do English speaking horse riding (do the horses need to speak English?) so they could do the odd half day whilst I naff off on road or MTB depending where we are
If anyone has any first hand rec's for the horse thing Id be very grateful 🙂
Location not massively important but as far as Im concerned hills better than flat, and as we're driving the Pyrenees are probably out but Massif Central and Alps probably in
Thanks you lot
I love you guys.......
Are you looking to go biking and have a nice horse steak for dinner? The Alsace region did some fine horse when I was there about 20 years ago...
No LOL
Sorry if I confused you pal
I want to ride bikes near somewhere the rest of the family can go horse riding
As far as the portes du soleil goes I've seen Pony trekking for kids in Les Gets and there's some pony's you can ride in Lindarets, but I don't know if the companys are online or English speaking.

Nice area, lovely town. Easy to get to from Clermont and the Autoroute.
most tourist places in france will have some kind of horse riding .
my home town, millau , south from st flour above , is great for mtb , and i know a few places where you can go and ride horses . it is also great for canoing , there are a few beaches on the river . the town swimming pool is really good ( olympic size pool , diving board etc.. ) , most campsites have their own smaller pools . if you have a car , it is 1h30 from the Med .
