A clutch kit and a flywheel or will a clutch kit suffice?

If it has a dmf (unlikely) then you might consider that as well IF you are not doing diy otherwise you might pay twice.

Iirc my r plate passat with that engine was a regular flywheel so guess its clutch only. In fact i dont think.dmfs would have been common back then.

I've got a 1.8T golf gti (AGU engine) on a V plate. They haven't got a DMF.
