I know there are quite a few developers on here and I was wondering if anyone here was involved in "big data". Is it worth getting into?
Every introduction I read about it is very fluffy and just says some bumf about Hadoop, usual problem as with any "enterprise solution". Any good real examples that I can get an idea. Is it just a lot of Bayesian inference?
