Hi

I have an iPhone 4 on orange and so does my wife. This afternoon anyone who tries to phone either of goes straight to voicemail despite both of us having up to 5 bars and full 3 g.

If I try to call out my phone hangs for a while and then beep beeps and shows call failed. My wife's does exactly the same.

I've tried switching both on and off again and nothing changes . I can't make calls on either phone despite being at home in a room that has full bars and no problems usually.

Both phones are on the same bill/ account but have different numbers. Both are 3 yrs old but have been fine.

I had the same problems a few months ago one Friday when I believe there might have been a network issue?

Where do I go to find out about this. Orange customer services is non existent after 10 pm.

I'm a bit miffed as I need to be in contact as we're expecting our first baby tomorrow (due date) and sort of need to be in contact!

Can't give you an answer but the best place to get a reaction from Orange is Twitter.

Over the weekend there was an issue for a lot of Orange users, me included, getting loads of texts from Orange saying I could now add a 'new magic number'. I was getting about 20 a day, as were lots of others. Twitter is where we let rip!!

I got my phones sorted today via orange. They said somelocal towers were degrading. All sorted now!

Where's the best website for this type of info then? or better via twitter, if so which feed?

Cheers
