So I thought I was deleting my sent items folder but no, dopey brains here was deleting my inbox. Anyway I went on the help thingy to restore them, which they did & I saved the 2 I needed but now when I check my mail my messages appear for a split second then vanish, the inbox label says '3 messages' but to the right it says 'there are no messages in your inbox folder'. Can't find any help on the Yahoo site to advise me either. Any ideas?
Do you have a 'trash' or 'deleted items' folder?
Yes, but I emptied them as well, (on purpose)

Empty your browser cache / try a different browser to rule out client-side issues. Failing that, you'll have to get on to Yahoo to see if they can recover it (and good luck with that).
I've just sent myself an email from my Google a/c & my Yahoo inbox has reappeard! But when I deleted that email, they all went again!

So forward them too your gmail then back too your yahoo. Problem solved. 😉
They bury the contact email but it is there. They are pretty helpful, and I think they can recover deleted emails
