Blimey, if he still rides as much as he used to that'll halve the amount of cycling that gets done round here in the next few weeks

(... and, where's that ?)

(... and why did you pick him up ??)

well... it went like this!

Last night a load of us went out to see The Beat - ace night out!

About half way through their set it seemed a good idea to elevate him!

He's not light, so we dropped him 😳

How much room do you think there is between the two fat lads at the front? Not ^ that much!

It seems it one of those pansie footballer type bones that's not even completely broken!

🙂

WCA still has the edge 😉

Not quite, these days, but there's a few local pubs that'll notice the drop in cider sales.

It was a bl00dy good gig though.

Ouchy! Talk about getting plastered!

I'm pretty sure that I wasn't involved in any lifting, what with my dodgy back and shoulder, although things were getting a bit hazy by then.

I think I recall being behind the big fella, trying to avoid being a crash mat. Sorry I wasn't of more use!

Am a bit achy today though having had about 3 hours sleep after, then getting up to go and lead a club ride. At least it was just the medium-paced group 😕

Back in the day we had a fat mate who attempted to crowd dive off the stage. The crowd saw him coming and didn't like what they saw...

It was like Moses parting the Red Sea - the crowd opened up into a lovely space for him and he slammed into the ground much to everyones amusement.

No serious injuries though so we were all allowed to laugh our asses off.

I did that a couple of years back at the Big Bike Bash. Two dislocated shoulders and three broken ribs on Saturday night, full days marshalling on the Sunday, clearing up on Monday and a stern telling off by A&E on Tuesday.

Get well soon Ashley!

Mate dropped someone at the SSUK08 party, who was being passed around at the time 😉

Not that anyone who was there would remember 😉
