I've been given the verbal to purchase a Troutie Liberator from the boss-lady. An order will be placed tonight before she can change her mind, and before she finds out about the cam belt on the car needing replacing.

Darkness here I come....again.

Have you seen the all new Darkness Dominator on Trouties site?

See thresd of riding trouts cutie for peoples reviews of the prototype for it.

This may change your mind on which one of his lights you want to go for.

nbt - welldone but the fact you know where it is means you need to stay in more

UPDATE: NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooo

car insurance and breakdown cover on top of new cam belt means no new light for the next few months. It's the best part of grand down the pan with nothing to show for it 🙁

that makes me a sad panda

Bummer, but maybe that will give you time to make a more informed decision on Trouties lights and get you name on the list of thoes to trial the cutie (Darkness Dominator).

UPDATE: I definitely can't afford the Troutie due to something called 'life' and the 'real world'. Instead I've ordered a half the price MagicSh!te with extra oojermeflips. 'pparently they've fixed all the gremlins with the old lights.

1000 lumens for 315 minutes has been claimed.

I'll let you know....

I wouldn't be too miserable about the MagicShine stuff.

I've got the Spokeshirts version of the DX XPG light and it is brilliant.

Bought it for last years D2D, so it's had a year of use and still works fine. It's had its fair share of soakings and keeps on going.

Well I can't fault them on speed. I've got the light in me grubby mitts. Once the mud is more solid than liquid I'll give them a go 🙂

aahhh sod it. I've just seen the mud and it's very muddy. I'll just have to do a boring road/canal path/middlewood way sorta route instead.

I like your style. I may borrow that method but with a new bike

Beware Taff, you only get one of these a year. If you get found out go with..."I could have bought the ##### which is £### more expensive. With the £### left over I'm going to buy you a ####".
