The driver, who is described as an elderly lady with white hair, did not stop at the scene.

WTF?

and driving a blue mazda, with a broken mirror, it appears.

Dont panic dear youve only tried to seriously injure a group of cyclists, and failed to stop, or report an accident involving injury to another road user.

This was during our club Women's road race. Unfortunately the marshals at the roundabout were too busy trying to help riders/prevent other incidents to get the car numberplate. Someone littered the road with tacks on another part of the course, was an eventful race!

A young kid was hit by a car close to our street party last weekend. After the impact on the bonnet he smashed the windscreen and rolled over the car. He walked to the pavement and collapsed. Thankfully he was okay but needed to go to Hospital. The paramedic reckoned that he would have to induce a coma after checking the damage to the car and was mighty surprised the kid was conscious and talking.

Have I been in the desert too long or is there the shadow of a camel in the bottom corner of that first photo?
Tell me I'm not losing it please.

I saw a kiddie hit by a car when I was 7, when I was out shopping with my Mum.

Poor wee thing never made it. I can still see it in my head.

Funny, my Dad was telling me recently that my Mum, who was a nurse, went over to help, jumped in the back of the ambulance with the girl's Mum, and stood with her in the hospital as the docs told her there was nothing they could do.

She was a good woman, my Mum...

Anyway- hope they catch that 206 driver!

I think it's the shadow of a critically ill victim of hit & run

Jeez, 😯 I hope the "victim" recovers soon to his prior health.

Let's hope they find this idjite before they go through life doing this again and turn into the old lady mentioned above.

I am so glad I convinced my dad to give up driving once his eye sight deteriorated - he was convinced he was ok, I had visions of the above 😐
