I used to swim there when I lived in Cairns when the croc was smaller and went for a swim there last year when I was over.
We all knew the croc was there and called it 'Cuddles'. He never came near humans but had a taste for unwary dogs.
My niece still swims there, but maybe not after this.
The water is a bit murky at the moment, I reckon Cuddles realised he'd made a mistake and let the guy go, otherwise there's no way he'd have got away.
