Where does everyone get their contact lenses from online? I have my current subscription so easy to order, just don't want to continue with Specsavers.
Also, with just getting them online, do you use a bricks and mortar shop to find out a contact lens subscription? I have astigmatism in one eye so don't really want to guess.
Thanks in advance.

I use feelgoodcontacts.com. It's a good service, quick delivery.

But yes, you definitely need a full eye exam at a real opticians before you try buying online. They'll prescribe what you need and then you will be able to buy the same lenses online thereafter.
I would not recommend guessing at a prescription, but not sure whether you have one or not.

Thanks. yeah I have a current subscription with Specsavers, but they wanted a quick health check before I can order any more (I have run out) and the next appointment is in over 3 weeks time.

Thinking about leaving Specsavers too. Having the same problems with long waiting lists for appointments. Then trying to get through to them on the phone is near impossible. I once had to make an appointment online just to be able to talk to them and order lenses. When I told them they said, oh just phone us next time. Pick up the phone then!

Pick up the phone.

Have had this numerous times having been with Specsavers for lenses for about 15 years.

Phone them, tell them I cant get in till after my lenses are due, they had a quick look at my history, no issues, sure, we'll send out a spare pair for you to tide you over.

In fact, the reason i've been with Specsavers so long is they are a company that has genuinely delivered really good service the whole time. Had numerous freebies/extras/arrangements etc with them over the years!

I use https://www.lenstore.co.uk/ these days

I was happy with SpecSavers, but their subscription service didn't work for me as a very light user. I ended up with a huge stack of lenses that took me 2 years to work through!

Only works if they pick up the phone. Which they don't.

I love Vision Direct and have used them for 10+ years. They are very easy, quick delivery and seem cheap. Haven't used contacts for a bit so haven't used them in the last year or so, assume they're still good.

I have a minimum number subscription with specsavers so get inclusive eyecare (sight tests and lens checkups). As the number of daily lenses i use varies month to month a just order extras from Vision Direct. They had a thing which told you their equivalent to the specsavers lenses (ie exactly the same but rebranded for ss).

Service is remarkable from VD - can order at 5pm and they arrive by 9am the following morning! Don't know how they do it!

feelgoodcontacts are reliable and have good pricing, I've been using them for years. My ophthalmologist is too expensive.

Think you mean optician, opthalmology is a specialism by a qualified doctor/surgeon.
