You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I couldn't find this being posted before and found it again today because of a conversation with a colleague.
Alex Zanardi pushed and pulled a 17 year old quadriplegic around the Venice marathon course. He's a big enough example of the human spirit for winning medals and races after his crash but this sort of thing makes him even more of a giant. A genuinely inspiring human being.
That's awesome. Nice feel good friday morning story. Cheers
He is a bright and shining star.

Fantastic , inspiring start to the day
Brilliant. Damn, got dust in my eye.
Not sure there is a word to describe him really.
Can anything stop him? I doubt it.
There's a few guys in the office with the same problem Harry.
Awesome.
Legendary. Would get my vote.
Edit: I don't think there are many real heroes in the world of sport these days, and it's a word that's thrown about all too lightly and frequently, but if anyone in sport deserves to be called a hero then it's Zanardi.
Absolute legend 🙂
Awsome +1000
Harry - you working in the same dusty office as me?
Brilliant.
Absolutely awe inspiring , humbling and amazing all at once
Bit dusty here as well
He really is a modern sports hero we should all admire
I used to think my sporting heroes were Lance Armstrong and Alex Zanardi. Shame, Lance couldn't hold a candle to this guy.
Truly truly humbling and no doubt giving so much of himself as I am sure propelling one hand bike let alone two is difficult enough. It must have taken a superhuman effort for Alex but even at the line he let the young man win.
Sometimes you read/see something that brings a tear to your eye.
Inspirational.
