Just wondering if anyone knows if on the outer rail on the 929 whether the ratchet straps for the wheels can be moved outwards to accomodate longer wheelbases?

As you can see below its on the limit for my wheelbase on my old enduro?? I've looked in the Thule manual, but no mention. Any ideas or solutions out there??

iirc there's two positions for the straps. If they're in the outer one they can't go any further (I tried - they just pull off the rail).

I've got a couple fo 50cm tie downs I use on my fat bike. I put them through the 'bridge' bit of the strap assembly and it seems to work well enough.

Cheers. I'll take a look. I've a feeling they're in the outer positions.
I'll just have to make sure my bike is not on the outside rack when we drive to France next week 😆
