I know this has nought to do with bikes but I know there are a load of spider lovers on this forum. I found this one this morning outside my bed room in Surrey. The photo's not great but the body was black and reasonably shiny and the markings on its back were much redder than you can see in the photo. It's abdomen was about the size of a 5p.
What is it?!

Eurgh, I've just noticed the horrendous reflection on the side of the plastic bottle it was in!
Don't know but keep it and feed it on fruit flies or something for fun, see if it grows into something like a Chilean Rose.
Too late. It got launched out of my window as soon as the photo was taken...there was no way I was leaving it to escape into my room!
