I've got to replace the waste pipe that goes from our kitchen sink to the bathroom waste and in turn down to the drain. All that goes into this the kitchen sink and washing machine which comes out through a 40mm pipe into a 4" salt glaze.
The salt glaze pipe is cracked which I discovered when lifting the concrete path to replace with decking which Is why I need to change it.
Is there any reason why I cant just run 40mm all the way to the trap for the bathroom waste as 4" seems somewhat excessive for whats going down it?
Your thoughts please 🙂
Photos? Could be length of run, there is a max length for waste pipesc which I should know, but never really remember as as soon as I start approaching 3m with multiple discharges I use 50mm waste pipe.
As above photos?
