So did a Google shopping search for a board game.
Onbuy.com had a very competitive price, half the Amazon price but just slightly under an Ebay seller for the same new, sealed game.
So I bought it.
Didn't realise until afterwards that simply a marketplace and money goes directly to the seller.
The question is, is there any protection? The transactions all go through the Paypal, so is this that the safety net?
I also noticed some crazy cheap games on there. Although this is not completely unknown, I picked up a new game on Ebay the other day for £9, it was selling for over £60 a few months ago, some sites still selling it for similar now.
I have used Onbuy.com a couple of times without issue - bike parts and car parts, both times were from a shop no issue at all with goods turning up and at a good price, genuine products. I think it will really depend on who the actual reseller is for the overall service.
Don't know if that helps but just my experience.
Used them a couple of times - always worth checking ratings of actual sellers 🤔
Used them for motor oil and I think something else but can't recall what, great prices and all delivered fine
Just used them for the £16.50 litre of Muc Off sealant (free delivery) and it arrived within 2 days. They're a platform I think so only as good as the seller.
