I annoyingly binned one of the old Garmin bean bag dashboard mount things (this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Garmin-Universal-Friction-Mount-700/dp/B000LRMS66/) only recently, and then sods law I actually wish I hadn't.
Don't suppose anyone has one knocking around for postage they no longer use or need? I only need the base really. Please, pretty please and very thank you 🙂
I could buy one off eBay for £12 or something, but I'm feeling tight about the matter given I actually owned one until very recently. Also, any suggestions for alternatives very welcome!
That's a right pain in the arse, I repurposed mine with an Aldi phone holder which has the same ball socket size.
There may be one at my mums house, I'll keep an eye out for it on the off chance it turns up.
Thanks @squirrelking - I've 3D printed a GoPro mount to slot into one, to try out repurposing my old GoPro Session as a dashcam, but I only realised after having printed it that I'd taken then beanbag thing (fairly unthinkingly to be honest because the old sat nav still works, just never gets used) to the tip!!
Well now, look what I found after all that 🤦
