Finally getting to try one of these on Tuesday... massively delayed due to covid kerfuffle! Where do you guys (or women with copious body hair) 😉 wear them? I'm using a libre so used to back of the arm but it's not ideal for arm warmers or thermal base layers that are tight fitting and obviously the omnipod is a chunkier unit! Belly is furry and wondered if it conflicts with bibshorts/tights? So where's best and any other advice gratefully recieved...thank you 🙂

I absolutely love my Omnipod Dash and mostly use the backs of my arms with zero issues. I also use a Dexcom and you would think I would notice the size difference but I really don’t! Occasionally use my stomach with no issues, although I don’t wear clothing that could interfere with it 🙂

I don't use an Omnipod but my pump sits nicely under bibs without any issues...Omnipod is a bit chunkier but I'd guess it shouldn't have any issues.
Good luck with the new device, hopefully will make plenty positive improvements for you.

I didn't think it took long but first 2 weeks or so I was doing more blood tests to make sure my settings were working.
I'm sure you'll be fine...just do some more checks and have some emergency supplies just in case.

My pods go on the less hairy parts of my waste and abdomen.

A couple of hours before your race starts, set a temp basal at - 50% until the end of the race.

Try not to drop your PDM, it's £250 for a new one.
