Your three favourite moments, and your least three favourite ones.
I start. Top three:
Emma gibbson semi final, she didn't give in and won it with style.
Spain giving a run for their money to the USA in the basket ball final
And last but not least
[img] [/img]
My least favourite moments
Absalon giving up. In my book he's now no better that wendy ball players.
Teddy Rinner gold medal, not earned in the slightest.
GB track team "bending" the rules.

They bent the rules when they fell off on purpose at the start! Dark deeds!!

when?

They stuck magnets under the track, then paid Mavic to install magnets in all their wheels apart from the ones Team GB used.

I'm impressed that given your recent spouting of shite on here, it hasn't been jumped all over and beaten to death with giant penises.

one of the team deliberatlely fell off after getting off to a dodgy start. if you fall off very early in a race you are allowed a re-start. so he did it.

probably counter balanced by the 2 harsh decisions against Penders.

They didn't do anything wrong, They just used the rules.

Don't hate the players. Hate the game!

GB track team "bending" the rules.

when?

+1? Seems the French have a lot of non stories in the papers with little or no facts about how the British have special wheels (built by Mavic, who are, errrrrr, French, and pretty ubiquitous on the track) or some other such nonsense.

Well if the UCI had the guts the badminton federation had I am not sure they would have been other races...

Really well I'd love to know in what papers? As far as I can see I haven't seen anything in any decent publishing. Obviously if you're quoting the daily mail or the "équipe" I won't bother having an argument with you.

The UCI Track Commissaire was plainly biased in favour of Team GB. 🙄

By what, disqualifying the entirety of Team GB for someone falling (intentionally or not)? Good to see that your strangeness isn't just against the British though, slamming two of the best athletes France has produced in recent years is a corker

Top 3:
French getting schooled in the men's team sprint final.
Gregory Bauge getting schooled in the men's sprint final.
Gemma Gibbons beating Audrey Tcheumeo to make the judo final.

8 GOLDS in cycling alone!
That's only 3 less than the French got in the whole of the games!

the french coach Florian Rousseau said this:

"There was no cheating, the British team was much stronger than the French team and I congratulate them on their success."

I did not say they cheated. I said they "bent" the rules. Like Rinner he did not cheated but he didn't actually do any Judo.
Atlaz, Absalon and Rinner are far from the "best" French athlete (vouilloz, douillet, dupont sprint to mind first).

Best:
Men's Team Pursuit (the women's was great to but that result was more of a certainty so less enthralling for me)
Wiggo's TT
The triple GB athletic's gold evening

Worst:
The badminton players losing on purpose (although as much blame should go to the competition format)
The commentary on the Men's Road Race (the GB team performance was amazing, just a shame the result wasn't their so it will soon be forgotten)
The closing ceremony

Funny how everyone knows about and mentions the badminton players losing on purpose (because the qualification rules were CRAP) but no-one mentions the fantastic men's singles final! It was one of my highlights.
the others being -
Victoria Pendleton's gold
Chris Hoy's gold
Anthony Joshua winning the super-heavy final
I'm sure Jess Ennis would be up there, if I'd seen it.
Some of the basketball was fantastic.
My non-MTBing family glued to the men's race.
And Emma Bunton.

My fab 3

Team GB and ALL of those wonderful volunteers
Those Dutch hockey girls in that hot orange strip
2 weeks of wonderful euphoria

Worst bit. Throwing himself of his bike (not falling off by accident) to win gold medal in the velodrome (that's my worst bit, not everyone else's before I'm told I'm trolling)

Which one was Baugé doing when he broke the drug testing rules?

My top three Favourites - bending the rules a little 😉

1 The Mo Farah Sonic Mexican Wave during his 5000m final
2 The Jamaican 4x100m relay WR topped off with a Usain Bolt Mobot 😆
3= Anna Chicherova winning highjump & Keshorn Walcott winning the Javelin, happened at near-enough the same time, good for different reasons
3= Alan Campbell's Bronze in the single sculls and Sir Steve carrying him up the gangway and supporting him during the girl's Gold medal national anthem
3= Yu Shiwen's 400m medley
3= Sir Chris hoy's medal ceremony
3= Bert Le Clos
3= Jess Ennis' 800m
3= Gonzalo Barroilhet & Keisuke Ushiro in the men's "syncronised" decathlon pole vault, both clearing third attempts for PB's (I think) at exactly the same time

Three least favourite
1 The GB crowd booing during the Urugayan National Anthem in the footie match between the two teams. Lot's of kids there too, joining in with older family members, who'll now think that's acceptable behaviour. A real let down.
2 The US coaches and ex-pros inferring opposition drug-cheating when losing:
in the pool when the US swimmer was beaten by Yu Shiwen (but not when their own were winning spectacularly) ;
and in the mens sprints when beaten by the Jamaicans (whilst their own ladies ran East German times without the same questions).
3 The post-roadrace interviews, blaming other teams and nations when it wasn't their responsibility to help us win.

OK I'll have a go, though the possibilities are a bit thinner:
Bryan Coquard beating Ed Clancy to silver in the omnium
Germain Chardin and Dorian Mortelette beating George Nash and Will Satch to the silver in the men's pair rowing
GB women's basketball team having their last second 3 pointer to tie against France disallowed.
