Having applied for a load and ended up with the footy at Old Trafford, I sort of lost interest in the ticket situation. I also applied and paid for them with a credit card I no longer have (Egg got taken over by Barclaycard).

So, should I actually have the paper tickets yet?

Nope, I think they are currently allocating seats etc. I'm in the same position - Artistic Gymnastics! Nat West moved from Visa to Mastercard afterI'd paid the money! AFAIK the paper tickets get sent out in June once they've been printed in the US and shipped over here!

Why are the tickets printed in the US?

Ticketmaster will start sending out the tickets in June, your olympic online account will not show your ticket allocation either as its in so called 'lock down' so they can process them.
