I have a disc with Contribute CS5 on, and product key, but have an ultrabook sans DVD drive. I have tried copying DVD in a colleagues laptop, but the file will not open on my machine...
Does anyone know if I can download an old version of Contribute, as Adobe only have 6.5 on thier site...
(not my choice of software, so haterz move on)
could you put an iso image onto a usb stick, or is that what you did ?
Create an image of the DVD with a DVD copying program. Install Virtual Clone Drive ( http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html ) and open the image with it - hey presto - You will be able to access the image of the DVD as if it was in a physical drive.
They usually have old versions hidden away somewhere.

That is what I did, re-did and on third time it has now worked 🙂
