Been working at this care home now for a couple of months.After the 1st month the woman in question said she was really impressed with my work.In her words the place has never been so clean and fresh smelling .She even phoned my boss to tell her and left a thank you note in my signing in book.I thanked her for what she had done.
All ok so far but since.She totally blanks me i could be stood next to her and say good morning and i'm Mr Invisible .Tried a bit of light hearted chit chat nothing that required more than a smile and yeah thats right .Nothing so now i think it's best to ignore her ?What puzzles me is if she is naturally quiet and reserved why bother to praise my work and go to the trouble of phoning my boss ?Before you get the wrong idea i am most definetly not coming on to her !At my age i've forgotten how to !She is the only member of staff like that so don't get it at all .Ignoring her isn't a problem it just bugs me thats all.

Hang her and make it look like an accident, that's what I normally do in these 'awkward' situations.
Is this really HER problem? She goes out of her way to make sure people know you do a good job, doesn't neccesarily mean she wants to be friends.

Could just be the way she is. We have a mildly aspergic bloke at work who will completely blank you in a corridor, but is fine in other environments.
Just ask her politely if there is anything wrong with your relationship? No harm there surely - ask her if your work is still up to standard?
