That review for the onza tyres shows that favourable magazine reviews for shit products are not a new construct, shamed to say I bought some for my Marin bear valley se back in 92 - utterly horrible squirmy things in corners but they did make a schloop-schloop noises on wet tarmac

I do feel I should point out these shoes came out 3 years ago. Not sure they are still for sale, apart from in Kids sizes.

I remember that review for the onza tyres. It was an April fool and they had taken a picture of one of the rubber soap holders.

They look like anti-grav shoes. Are they anti-grav shoes?

(I'm now imagining the noise they make. wuhwuhwuhwuh.

I think the April Fool was actually the underside of a rubber bath mat, if I remember correctly?

it's not like CFH to be 3 years behind on the latest fashions... 🙄

Actually, you're right there, Yunki.

I completely forgot that CFH is on thin ice when it comes to shoe fashion.

I quite like mad trainers. Ones like those above tend to be worn by trendy youngsters who are far cooler than I ever was or will ever be, and who do actually sometimes look good in them. Is the OP a middle aged man who's a bit out of touch with the kidz? 😉

I'm currently coveting a bright orange hoody top I saw recently. At least, I was until my wife laughed and said I'd look stupid wearing it. 😥

I might go and buy it just to spite her.

If the look's good enough for James May, it's good enough for CFH.

Are those the kind of shoes you see advertised in the back of tabloid sunday supplements? ^

And forget those comfortable shoes; beige slacks? 😯

Comfort AND style.

Probably doesn't help my case to admit my mum bought them for me. I'm 41.

Yunki that's unkind (it's what we were all thinking though 😳 ).

"I'm 41."

I can't see anything wrong with that jeans and trainers combo really.

So; the OP starts a thread about other people's fashion/footwear choices, then the beige slacks/comfy shoes picture is invoked.

That's a bit embarrassing. 😆

Jeans, not slacks.
Specialized 2FO shoes. I'd been riding in Montana. Which was nice.

🙂

Can someone now add another layer to Graham's picture?

"Jeans, not slacks."

They're not jeans, they're slacks. Jeans don't come in beige.

Jeans, not slacks.

I assumed it was some sort of business class onesie with the feet sewn in.

My mistake. 😳

They missed a trick there. The R Lab nodule could have been called R Sole.

I have no idea what they are smoking over at Reebok, after the UFC fight kit debacle and the somewhat dodgy crossfit kit (Nano shoes excepted) they are getting left behind by the ikes of Under Armour and Nike. Even stablemates Adidas seem to be doing reasonably well.

Reebok were always a bit sh*t though and not for 'proper' sport, apparently the Nike execs laughed at what are now Reebok Classics when the first came out. The main reason being they thought they were really badly made.
