Thats me back with joblesstrackworld.

I was appointed by a temp senior manger, the permanent one didn't want me, manoeuvred me out as failing probation after 5 weeks. 5 weeks where I have worked 50+ hr weeks and have done my best to fulfil an impossible workload.

Bollx

I need to wee in her shoes

Bad luck TJ. Given your un-relenting doggedness I cant imagine you failed because you were anything but outstanding at what you do.

Sometimes you just cant game the politics.

Failure to complete some audits was the reason given. given formal warning after 8 days, canned after 5 weeks

I can get temp work - won't have to sign on

didn't get chance Phil. I was more than likely going to quit however - I refuse to attempt an impossible workload and then be told off when I don't complete it having worked 50+ hrs in a week in attempting it.

As they were firing me I took the keys from my keyring put them on the table and walked out however

I'm sorry Uncle Jezza, I simply don't believe that

That's bloody rubbish though mate. A man of your talents - You'll get something sorted quickly though. Have you thought of moving south to the land of opportunity? 😉

Rough... I'd hate that

This is the job where you inadvertently tore the head of HR a new one when she carved you up?

That's crappy for you but....

You are far better getting kicked in the nuts now rather than have to work like a dog for a couple of years first. Plenty of decent employers out there, now you can go work for one of them.

TJ, commiserations fella.

Sign up with an agency and get some ITU agency stuff done; a couple of my staff do it and get silly money for looking after ventilated patients in the community, or get paid to go out and change TPN bags.

I'd rather be on my bike so I don't bother..

Bikepawl you bitch.

Crikey - too long since I did ITU - must be 20 yrs since I looked after a ventilated patient

Bullheart eh?

Blimey TJ! Not far off this predicament myself. It's not easy out there right now. Chin up, and best of luck. I hate to see good people down. You live a long way from the Saaaarf and I don't work on your field, but if I can help, let me know!
