There have been some fairly mixed reviews of the new 12 Mac Books, see macrumours link here
Just one port, its a no from me
But, but it's sooooo beautiful 😆
Just one port, its a no from me
@wysiwyg that is one of the main gripes. TBH we still frequently use Ethernet cable as we find WiFi unreliable not sure what we'd do with newer computers.
Is nice. I'd go MBP though, mostly because the stuff that bothered the reviewers would bother me too. If you want a bigger, more capable Air, in gold, then it looks ideal 🙂
Shhhh, I'm still in fapping mode 😆
I read the reviews too, yes I know about the ports but hey who really uses them these days ?
Nearly there!
but hey who really uses them these days
Me, all the time for external displays, projection at events, external drives, taking footage from cameras, charging phones and action cameras, tethering on the road, working with microcontrollers.
Sorry, did you want me to talk dirty? Ok, *ahem*
There are a lot of times I need more than one thing plugged in at once.
I read the reviews too, yes I know about the ports but hey who really uses them these days ?
photographers/videographers who need thunderbolt in/out for SSD’s/raids/fast card readers/camera tethering/wacom tablets/external monitors etc
this MBP is just a fashion item for rich students and pretend creatives, those who need a mac workhorse to get stuff done will mostly use a 13/15in retinaMBP.
I love MacBooks, but in gold !?
Not for me really.
Aye like real gold? Or a yellow colour?
Yella innit.
To be fair I use my ports all the time too, cameras/phones/drives etc. but well...
It's Gold (wel Yella) innit
Thats what got me 😆
Shan't be buying one, I'm all fapped out and typing on my Air anyhow's..
