Just wondered if anyone could give me any advice about finding offshore work in the oil/gas industry .I worked as a electrician until 1996, since then I have been working as a R.F Field Engineer in the mobile communications industry .
All the positions I have seen,keep indicating you must have worked offshore already . I was just wondering what the best way to get the initial start. I have looked on a few other forums and the replies are always pretty negative regarding finding your first job.(as in don't wast your money on the courses)
I am planning on doing my survival/mist course shortly .
Will be very grateful for any advice.
