Cook will likely get there, is Root as good as him?

Root has all the potential to be as good.
seems switched on,knows his game and will probably work at it. Time will tell, if teams work his hang on the back foot a bit and exploit it, he will have to work hard to find a way to overcome that.
All batsmen seem to go through the tough time a year or two into their career, those with the correct attitude and work ethic get through it and because of that think Root will have a long career.
