hello all,

fortunate enough to have grabbed my self some new googles this season, got some oakly cannopys with fire iridium (12-16% VLT)
great if its sunny

looking to get a 2nd lens for adverse/all rounder

was looking at the

Prizm Rose (No VLT given)

or the

VR50 pink iridium (VLT:37%)

am i on the right track, any preference or something different?

I'm a fan of a bling lens for sunny days as you already have, and then persimmon for bad light.

I use their high intensity yellow for flat/bad light. They are ace.

Another vote for Persimmon in anything other than bluebird.

For poor conditions this year (heavy snow and whiteout) I switched to Prizm Rose. Not sure it was massively better for visibility than the high intensity yellow I was using as it feels quite dark but it was no worse and had the major advantage that if the weather improved I wasn't blinded like I can be with the yellow lens as it lets so much light in. Perhaps the marketing/technical guff about better contrast etc. does work.

Next year I may check out their better condition Prizm lenses. I normally ski in VR50 Pink Iridium as I don't like things too dark, even on blue sky days.

I've got fire iridium lenses and haven't got round to buying a flat light lenses yet. But they're actually really good on dull days and were plenty good enough when it was actually snowing as well.

I'd probably go for persimmon though, as they're pretty cheap and I've had VR28 before and wasn't too impressed.
