Just watched this on the beeb.

Wonder how long the couriers will last in the face of ongoing Internet expansion etc.

Gears, suspension, mountain bike, brakes, no tats, no piercings, nice new courier bag, no real attitude.

That guy has no clue at all does he?

Only 10 years experience!

Interesting to hear how much they used to earn.

Sounds like a lot of miles for not much cash now

Guy seems happy, and he's happy that he's happy, wouldn't mind having his outlook

Nice wee vid! Did a year and a half trying to get a cycle courier company off the ground in Aberdeen, many years ago now. Sounds cliched, but just couldn't get the staff for the cash I could pay. Loads of guys loved the idea of it but flaked out after half a day in the face of a sea breeze. My business partner lasted a month, before retiring 🙁

I struggled on through the worst, coldest, snowiest, slushiest winter for decades but gave up in the Spring when I realised I hadn't paid myself for two months 😀 I was plenty fit though!
