3 Twin Otters in at the moment. Looks cold.
3 Twin Otters, sitting in the snow...
3 Twin Otters, sitting in the snow...
3 Twin Otters, sitting in the snow...
And if one Twin Otter was just told to go... There'd be..
Two Twin Otters, sitting in the snow.
Etc etc. You know the rest.
NNot a single Twin Otter when I looked at this...
Sun is up!
Planes gone, but there is a snow plough.
I can quite happily watch webcams around the world for ages just seeing different places. This one quite often pops up
This one can get quite addictive, especially if you like trains and snow.
I like this thread - Hyggee TV.
You could count the railcars on the trains at Revelstoke. Does it have sound cos I really want it to come with the ding-ding of the crossing and the NNNNNNNNNNHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH of the train hooter. Reminds me of my days in Banff.
EDIT - Traaaaaaaaain. And it got sound! Only caught the arse end though coming back from lunch so no counting.
Revelstoke East facing camera.
There’s loads on the channel. The Skykhomish one in Washington state was interesting when they got a huge dump of snow a few weeks ago.
I used to like JenniCam back in the day
They're baaaack!
Two Twin Otters sitting on the snow
One named Bettie, the other named Beau
A TRAIN IS A COMIN'
In 2000 I stayed with a guy in Medicine Hat who was a conductor with CP Rail. Some of those trains are 1.5 miles long.

Shit-the-bed! 2.4km long train! That must take some tractor unit!

Filmed just outside Medicine Hat at Suffield:

There’s usually 3 or 4.
Probably the same in places like Oz I’d imagine.
Some of the loads originate in Toronto or Vancouver & are hauled all the way across Canada.
A train come through earlier with 2 x power at front, one in the middle and one at the back.
Kerney, Nebraska. 3 mile long coal train.
Did anybody count how many containers made up the Canpotex rake that came through about 1:01am PST? 3rd Feb. Over 150 at least I reckon.
Two Twin Otters in at Nuuk!
#Exciting
Three now!
What a time to be alive!
I’ll show my stepson that coal train clip. He drives these..
3 miles long!! That’s nuts.
And if one twin otter...

(it's actually a DE HAVILLAND DHC-8-200 Dash 8, but that doesn't scan as well)

I can see two out of the window here 🙂
Prop windmilling on the near one!
looks likes it's a bit windy.
Question for the aircraft savvy folk - why don't the shut the doors on the planes
Actually they’re not Twin Otters. Were they earlier?
Looks properly chilly at the moment
They're Dash 8's, though the very occasional Twin Otter does visit. There's also a resident air ambulance King Air.
If you want to lose the rest of your day there's always https://airportwebcams.net/
Oooh, looks like some folks are boarding...
@HtS - are you giving your employer VFM? Honestly...
...and away!
They’re Dash 8’s
I enjoy how everyone ignored how you destroyed the heart of this thread 🤣🤣

I live in North Vancouver not far from the docks where these trains load and unload.
My local pub is on the opposite side of the railway tracks to where I live. You don't want to mis-time walking to or from the pub otherwise you'll be waiting a VERY long time at the level-crossing...😠
Don’t you race it to the next crossing yeeee-hawwww

Do you live on the wrong side of the tracks? Or is your favourite pub on the wrong side of the tracks?
Either way, never a bad time to listen to this:
Prop windmilling on the near one!
Alright Harry, keep ya hair on.
Oooh, looks like some folks are boarding
& you.
Doesn’t take much to get you two going does it? 😂😂😜
-11°C and snowing. Again.
No DASH 8-200 action yet.
Getting busy!
Is anyone seriously flying in that weather?
Otters 😉 all over the place
& you.

You should see me at an airshow 😉
Some nice Ground Equipment/Snow clearing movements going on here!

Did a stage race in BC and the first day in Fernie was a timed single lap.
They had marshals at the level-crossings to record any time if you got held up by a train.👍🙃
Looking Christmassy!

As soon as I saw the video when I opened the thread, I thought, those aren’t Twin Otters, but I didn’t want to disillusion anyone…
For anyone wanting twin otters…
Just checking the Nuuk cam, -7, feels like -20. No shorts wearing there, then!
The 11foot8.com footage never gets old! What gets me, though, is the number of Penske transport trucks get caught, you’d think they might disseminate information about the bridge to everyone driving that way, wouldn’t you?
