You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Anyone else looking forward to this? I really look forward to this one, the track is awesome and GT3/prototype racing is my favourite although no prototypes at this one. The cars for those that don't know are from the GT3s all the way down to a Dacia Logan!
Second lot of days practice is on at about 7 with two more sessions tomorrow.

Just tried to do the link on my phone so no idea if it worked ....
Hell yeah, I love gt3/prototype racing too, love seeing the Manta back this year too. Going to Lemans this year for the first time too.
This, 12h Bathurst and the 24h of Spa are on the list of events I have to attend at some point in my life. Love a good bit of GT3 racing although I do miss the sound of the Bentleys.
Le Man's this year should be great as it's the centenary, I was planning to go for my 50th but stuff got in the way .... Gutted doesn't describe it.
A mate is away to Germany for a week for the race. He'll be like a pig in 💩
Ahhh the Bentleys! Creg we have the same list of events too plus I'd like to do the Daytona 24. This is our first Lemans so it'll probably be chaos.

Oh yes! The in car footage is awsome and its very much an event that unfolds

I’ll be watching it, cracking race and I love the fact the Dacia Logan is mixing it with the likes of Kevin Estre and the Porsches. Shame Misha from Apex is not in the Dacia this year.
Thanks for the heads up!
Well that was an emotional finish to a race, even the UK commentary crew had tears and you could hear their emotions as the final part played out.
The Dacia is dead
Was a cracking race though, good to see the Frikadelli team win with Ferrari, and with David Pittard at the wheel for the final stint

Also the team is run by the late Sabine Schmitz's husband
Managed to catch a bit at lunchtime and caught the last 15/20 minutes at my break. Enjoyed what I managed to catch although I had the 911 Porsche or the 98 BMW down to win so close with the BMW but the 911 had a bit of a nightmare. The new Ferrari was very impressive and at one point Im sure I heard them say it's fastest lap was 3 seconds faster than Kevin Estre in the 911 which will be scary for when they get some more miles on the car.
The Logan is now finished I think as it was badly damaged and they no longer make the engines also another year another rumour that the fox tail manta has run it's last race
Roll on Le Man's 🙂

On the final lap they cut to Sabine Schmitz corner as the Frikedelli car came round and they zoomed in on her name, you could hear Jonny Palmer tear up as he mentioned it.
10 odd years ago I took my track focused MK2 Golf Gti to the ring a couple of times and once I got over the absolute terror (took 5 or so laps) it was a hoot, you don’t experience the big climbs and drops when viewing on a screen and it’s so mentally tiring but worth a trip. Back in late 2018 when I was diagnosed with spms I cheered myself up by booking a lap with Apex Nurburgring and their McLaren 600LT for the 2019 season but covid happened and my spms hit me hard later that year so had to get a refund as there was no way I could travel, never mind get myself into such a car 🙁
