You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I've lost my sunto Spartan and am in the market for something easier to use.
It definitely needs to have an interval function /app with numbers that I can see without my specs.
So can someone tell me what you've got and how big your numbers are please?
I've got a Garmin fenix 6s and you can customise the screen. For example you can have 6 data fields with tiny text or 3 data fields with massive text, or whatever. Depends on your eyes and need for data. The built in options are pretty good and if they really don't work you can download other screen configurations or even build your own. I'm at that age where reading glasses are a thing and it works for me. I struggled with the default but the after customisation the text is great. Its not just size, you can have thicker fonts as well, and that makes a difference to readability
I think Garmin can also be set to auto scroll through each data screen, so if you only have 1 or 2 data fields shown per screen (to allow larger fonts) then you could set it to auto scroll to show other fields without having to interact with the watch buttons (but may require more than a quick glance to see the data you want). Suspect all manufacturers offer something like that.
Garmin Fenix or 955 would be a good bet. DON'T get an Instinct: I got one when my Fenix 5 started to die, and while it's great in bright daylight I struggle to read the numbers at night using the backlight, something that wasn't a problem previously. Not a huge issue and I'm otherwise very happy with the watch, but definitely something to consider.
Apple Watch can have mahoosive digits too.
Mr Shoes,how big in mm?
With a Garmin 735 and a single timer field the digits are 10mm high.
