anyone else like NTS radio or does 6 music still rule the roost here ?
Keep meaning to give it a go. Was doing 6 Music for background noise while WFH, but got really sick of hearing the same tracks over and over - even got fed up with the ones I liked!
I borrowed a car with the radio tuned to Radio 1 this week, I was only driving for 15-20mins and heard The Killers, Coldplay and something else bloody awful that slips my mind, like a 15 year indie-pop timewarp. Hideous.
Will give NTS a go next week. Hopefully there isn't similar mindless DJ chat
Yeah, this is my daily go to, the GF prefers R6 (As do I for Friday night Ravenscroft) but day to day I go for NTS any time.
DEZ - Charlie Bones can get a bit chatty in the morning but is more bearable than most as he's usually talking to someone, not just wittering on to himself.
Used to love the Weatherall shows every month 🙁
