I’m quite a fan of the NowTV boxes. Obviously they're pretty cheap but I've found they work well for iplayer, more 4 etc. I've got the black one and I had a rather specific question.
For some reason the iplayer app always hangs when it tries to load the second video in a series. I have to back out to the main iplayer screen and go back in. A minor annoyance but it's very irritating. Any fix for this? I've already tried reinstalling the iplayer app and forcing updates etc.
Will this issue be solved by buying the new (smart) box? And is the new box easier to live with? The remote on mine is not as responsive as it should be, it'd be worth upgrading of this is fixed.
They're pretty cheap these days and in fact are cost neutral by the time you subtract the subscription. I just don't like chucking the old ones in landfill...
