Without necessarily wanting to leap to his defense, it's not clear from the bits and bobs I've read what he has been accused of. The charges could relate to child sex offenses like the accusations against saville but equally they could relate to misogyny and boarishness like those against DLT. Both obviously reprehensible but not - in my opinion - to be conflated.

Neither, he hasn't been charged with anything, which is probably worth remembering. As far as I'm aware most people who have been arrested under Operation Yewtree haven't been charged, although I could be wrong.
