Following on from Amazon last week , ebay is giving me grief.
I've cleared my history, deleted the cookies, unticked keep me signed in on the log in page and also on the settings page.
It's still there with my ID and password when I type in eBay.
More ideas please.

As before, isn't it your browser's password manager that is filling in your login details?

e.g. if I get logged out of here (as I often do) then when I go to the login screen my details are already filled in because my browser (Chrome) knows them. That's not the same as being already logged in - or not being able to log out.

If it's what Graham S suggests, then there should be instructions here;

Assuming desktop.

1. Safari > Preferences > Passwords

2. Enter login password if asked, then type eBay in the search box. Select what appears, and click remove.

3. If you don't want your browser to remember passwords, click the autofill tab, and uncheck the box next to username and passwords.

4. If you want to remove ALL passwords and usernames saved, go back to the passwords tab, hit command + a and select remove.

If you want to give your PC a bit o a spring clean, CCleaner is worth a download.

Will get rid of most clutter and also dispose of crap in the registry.

As he's using Safari I'm guessing it's on a Mac.
I was going to point the finger at Keychain <shakes fist at keychain> but it looks like it wasn't to blame.

For once.

😉
