Oooh a can of worms . And no doubt one that could well be removed before we even get started . I have a book called monsters of the movies , and whilst looking through I saw some sexy vampires . The film was called vampire lust . So I looked on you tube and as I was typing in vampire lust so super low budget (seriously about 15 quid budget) Zombie rape lust came up ! With a title like that I had to have a watch a Japanese crazy zombie film which even left me speechless. I think it is officially one of the lowest budget films ever . And there are 4 in the series....... discuss !

From where I was sitting Tetsuo The Iron Man was pretty wrong. As was Irreversible for many reasons.

Island of Death - it features the best goat shagging scene I've seen committed to film.

Back when I was a teenager there was a video doing the rounds at school - everyone called it 'Animal Farm' but it wasn't very Orwellian - technically it was porn, but you'd need to be a bit special to chub up watching it - grimm. I saw about 30 seconds of it at a mates house, never again.

Other than that I've always avoided 'video nasties' Human Centipede, 2 girls 1 cup and the Serbian film hold about as much appeal to me as watching an IS beheading, I watch to live a happy, positive life - Id only watch things like that if I could have done something to stop it.

The last iffy film I watched was 'grotesque' and since then I've given anything that I didn't find entertaining a wide berth.

I used to watch a fair few crap films that were considered 'wrong' or 'twisted' to see what the fuss was about and was never really bothered by them.

I'm not a fan of censorship in any form and if people want to make tasteless films for artistic reasons then that's enough for me - but think I must be getting old (or have turned normal) as I've no longer any interest in watching them.

I would not recommend anyone watching this by the way - the title does sum it up

Teeth - SPOILER - seeing a dog eat a penis that has been severed by a vagina that has teeth was a bit of a movie milestone for me.

Was at a large house party once, many students 'cooking with herbs.'

Being a then stranger to hits from the bong I passed out in a beanbag and awoke to the sight of a video entilted 'Animal Farm'. As I focused on the screen it soon became apparent that it wasn't much to do with George Orwell's literary classic. I decided to leg it outside and go home, but outside thought I heard a police radio the other side of the garden hedge. I hissed 'police', a mate dived under a parked car to escape detection. I felt I should inform the revellers inside of impending bust so staggered back in. Uproar ensued and herbs thrown in toilet.

Then someone knocks on the door : "Taxi?"

True story.

Irreversible, already mentioned above.

I actually enjoyed it, (apart from the subway rape screen obviously..)

bad boy bubby
pink flamingos (go on, I dare you....)
as above, Tetsuo / Tetsuo body hammer
Ichi the killer
Gozu (yakuza dude can only get off while having a ladle up his.... among many other disturbing scenes)
hell comes to frog town (just wrong that it was ever made)
cannibal ferox / cannibal holocaust
Holy mountain
baby cart and the river stix

I don't know how Oldboy is in this list (unless you're referring to the remake as remaking the original is just wrong) as the vengeance trilogy is a great piece of cinema)

I could go on but i'd probably break the internet

As always people are just saying any film for comedic value .
I just had a peak at grotesque. Hmmmm 30 seconds of what I saw was too much . What are the directors thinking ? Or even what are they telling the bank managers and funders ?

A group of us watched that film together. Very uncomfortable silence was the result of that scene.

I've had no problem stomaching many horror films including video nastys and even the torture porn films like Saw and Hostel

however, try watching French horror film 'Martyrs'?

same. what the hell is it???

also saw all the 'video nasties' back in the eighties, animal farm, the cannibal ferox/holocaust jobbies etc. seem to remember one called anthropophogous beast or somethings too. they just tried to make em as shocking as poss, which was great for us impressionable teenagers.
i dont think they stand the test of time tho. caught a bit of the old 'i spit on your grave' a few years back and just thought 'how did we like this sh1t? 😀

Suicide club (Japanese film from 2001). A few scenes were passed around my school when I was in year 10/11 (:spoiler: the mass train track jumping scene comes to mind as the most memorable. :spoiler:) so I decided to watch it, cannot be unseen and truly a weird film

It's the finale from a very real (I'm afraid) film.
