Just something to think about!
I am not the dick I appear in real life, it is just the way I talk and act when with others. On the inside when I am just talking to the voices in my head I am very nice and everyone loves me.

I've always been suspicious that that's what Frankie Boyle is up to, he just dresses it up in some super-intellectual parody.
I don't believe he's a racist, but I think he know's that using shocking language amuses people, and rather than coming out and saying that he is just appealling to the crassest, lowest common denominator, its actually incredibly clever, and if you can't see past that, you're not clever enough.

This is akin to trash talking and then justifying it as banter.

It's well worth a read of the whole article. You'd think the whole thing was a parody, but they're real people.
