BBQ this afternoon with several beers being drunk. Wild beer sour dough being a highlight. Just popped back in to check that my code is running as expect then back out into the sun 😀
That's how I roll, one of my fave keg beers is Lovibonds 69Keg, not cask.

it's from California and quite a hoppy beer, very pleasant especially in the sun.
it's also pretty common in the UK now, well down South anyway.

I am enjoying Lakeland Gold from Hawkshead Brewery and its a shame I didn't have it at lunchtime...
Supping a hobgoblin or three this evening.
Have got quite partial over the summer and really need to cut back on ale consumption.
Thornbridge brew some lovely stuff. And that Green Devil is a delight.

I had a lovely light 3.8% ale for lunch from the Upham brewery in our local wetherspoons no less and a meagre £1.99 in central southern England! Tasty and no noticeable impact on the afternoon.
Still loving this at the moment.
Plus some Dark Island for later (two times CAMRA champ from Orkney). EDIT: dear god.....i've just realised they make a RESERVE!!!!

Binners you may eat what filth you like and feed meat to vegans until the cows come home wrapped in plastic packaging but claiming that frothy yellow stuff is a better than a pint of British ale on a summers day... [shakes head]
Dark Island is lovely. Reserve is seriously heavy, treacle-y thick and the abv is very obvious. I wasn't the biggest fan tbh and won't be buying it again.
