Need a submerged pump for a small pond.

Total head from bottom of the pond to the top of the cascade is less than 1 metre.
Flow rate needs to be more of a trickle than big squirty fountain.
Pump will need to be fitted with a flexible hose on the discharge side to get up to the top of the cascade.
Don’t want to spend a fortune, but also don’t want a POS that will die after a couple of months.

Any thoughts or experiences before I venture off into the on-line world of water features?

I bought this one in May 2018. Other than this winter when I turned it off to save a few kWh it has run constantly since then. No maintainance apart from regular clearing out leaves etc from the intake.

Which ever Oase model fits your requirements and budget would be my recommendation.  We have an Oase filtoclear 6000 which is doing what you describe for a 4000 litre pond, but cascading over about 15 metres with approx 1 metre elevation gain.

Ask these people...

...I'm no expert so won't recommend anything. They were good when I was looking a few years ago.
