Weirdly I've started having nose bleeds. First happened when I was working really hard on a 20mile where I was trying to stay above ftp for the duration around Easter. Put it down to snot rockets.
I run 5miles three times a week and sometimes I'll get a bloody nose, again I put it down to blowing hard out my nose.
Now it's just random. This morning in the shower it was the scene from psycho.
Blood pressure is 114/72 (ish). Seems odd for a 52yo I'm not concerned but it's concerning for others.
Anybody had similar?

Absolutely a GP job imo. Many different causes, get it checked out.

I’ve suffered from nosebleeds on and off since I was a teenager (over 40 now). I’ve mentioned it to the GP before and never found anything wrong. One of the causes is dehydration as the membranes in your nose dry out and can crack. If I’m in a phase of drinking too much booze it is noticeably worse, particularly red wine for some reason.

I get them, have had them on an off my whole life. Worse in dry weather or if I get a cold and blow my nose a lot. I've mentioned it to multiple doctors over the years but I'm told that there is no obvious issue and its just one of those things.

Best to get the GP to give you a once over if it has started recently.

I did think the dry might not be helping

October/November last year I had about a dozen full on hour+ long nosebleeds. My BP was probably the highish side of normal.

No real apparent reason (coffee in the am didn’t help though, and if I had one earlier tea or coffee was likely to set it off).

Called the doc, they basically went there is nothing really to worr.y about (although apparently if they last >30 mins I was supposed to go to A&E... except my nose was bleeding...).

They prescribed me some cream which I eventually used and after a couple weeks of that they stopped and been ok since.

I’m 57 (and a FF).

My mother suffers them as part of her ongoing terminal illness. Definitely worth getting checked out.

Have you had one of the more recent Covid strains ?
Was chatting to my GP the other day,as I’ve had nasty neuralgia post Covid. She was asking about nose bleeds as apparently there may be a suggestion that they can be prevalent post Covid in some cases.

Had them for most of my life. Usually in cold weather whilst running, wearing a buff as a hat when running stops them though. Don’t suffer when riding in the cold or walking even just running.

Yup another one here that has had them all my life(now 57)
I find they happen in hot weather. Docs years a go said they weren't often enough to warrant doing anything about
