Just been sent some pictures of the Northern Lights in Finland and southern Sweden, anyone in Scotland see them tonight?

I doubt it was dark enough when they were at their peak.

A friend has just posted some pictures from above the Arctic circle in Sweden, but not much happening on the NE Scotland Aurora group. Too cloudy here in the Western Isles.

Saw them when I was working in Finland 4 years ago. Pretty spectacular.

I just watched the aurora for about 10 mins in my back garden on the Black Isle. Absolutely amazing.
I knew it was going to be visible at 12am, so stayed up. Just wish i had gone for a drive over to the north facing side of the BI for a better view.

Saw them last night and they were good, but not as good as they have been. I am north of Uppsala though
