You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I think I've asked this before, and I think others may have done as well, but I need better help than pointing me to another website or Facebook...or maybe that is just the answer.Â
Anyways, who is riding in (organised) groups around the North Downs area? When I mean organised, a WhatsApp group or similar of "Going this Sunday, who's going to join?" level of organisation, no drama if you can't make it.Â
When I asked previously, I was told to look at the BFC club list or other websites, but that got me nowhere, because those groups seem more organised anbd road biased. Used to ride with mates but they've all given up (at least that's what they told me!).
Found MuddyMoles and I've emailed them.🤞for a good response.Â
Final comment, I'm not on Facebook...reason being is I have a stupid surname and they think it's an alias, and no matter what I do they won't accept me. I'll keep trying though.Â
Hi. Matt the founder of the Muddymoles usually responds quickly and we welcome new riders all the time. Causal Sunday AM rides and mid-week evening rides (we're out tonight) depending on who is around. We aren't the most knarly of riders (we don't usually ride many of the big jumps round here) but if that's your thing we can put you in touch with others.Â
there are regular free shop rides, Clunkers in Dorking, Nirvana in Wescott and some that go out from Peaslake way (dont know who does it though).  I'd start with either of those first - Clunkers are more likely to get the miles for smiles in but they've got various splinter groups. They have a whatsapp group(s) as well.
Thanks both, really useful. Heard back from Muddy Moles and will keep off with them in a few weeks. 🙏
