Bacon, it'll get you in the end, one way or another.

There's some thread titles you just know you shouldn't open, especially as you know the link/story isn't something you want to know about. So why the **** am I here?!

Luckily our much-envied Conservative government has all the answers.

I'll be starting a thread later about prolapsed anuses. Definitely don't do a Google image search on that one. Some things haunt your soul forever.

I don’t eat much meat, and never pork, for no other reason than I don’t like it, but that really does prove the point that certain foods really must be properly cooked! 🤢🤮

Except the article says there's no link between this particular brainworm and eating uncooked meat, it comes from being a dirty bastid and not washing your hands after handling your pork.

Yet another reason to have a Japanese toilet. It is the future I tell you. Minimal chance of tapeworm bottom to mouth transference.

This topic very strange timing.

I had food poisoning from Chinese takeaway and ever since been going to toilet multiple times per day.

Buying 24 rolls per monthly shop is no joking matter now.

I might go beat the takeaway bossman with my pork

Give him a taste of his own medicine

On a more serious note, does anyone know where to find a treatment and what it is called as loose squiting really takes the life source outta me.

I've already been for a diagnostic scan with ky jelly to rule out cancer, gall bladder stones etc.

Headline is 'Bacon' First paragraph is 'Bacon'

Then they go on to call it pork. Pork and Bacon are two separate things. Bacon is cured, pork is not, so its unlikely any parasite would survive the curing process.

You can eat pancetta(very similar to bacon) uncooked.

Cysticercosis usually develops when you eat tapeworm eggs, which are actually produced by humans who are carrying tapeworms in the gut.

Eating tapeworm cysts in pork meat just gives you a tapeworm. Apparently they can grow up to 30ft long... The bad news is that you can then give yourself cysticercosis if you eat the tapeworm eggs that you are now shitting out in vast quantities. That's where the poor hygiene comes in.

Humans are the definitive host in the tapeworm lifecycle, whereas the poor pigs are only the intermediate hosts. All quite fascinating really, unless you're experiencing it first (unwashed) hand.
