Morning all😀

Not enjoying using my Beats anymore, far to heavy on the bass.
Would like to replace, budget up to £100
Must be Bluetooth and noise cancelling and over the ear.

I’m deaf in one ear, however I can hear certain frequencies, wouldn’t be using with my hearing aid.
Mainly listen to guitar/rock etc

Not bothered about brand just something with clarity and not full on bass.

Thanks in advance

In typical STW fashion I just took your budget and added 30%
<h1 class="product-stage__headline">Sennheiser PXC 550-II</h1>
I bought a set of Momentum's from the Sennheiser outlet store a couple of years back and they're still going very strong. The noise cancelling isn't up to Bose / Sony standards, so maybe do some reading on the specs of these if that's important to you, but the sound profile is lovely.

See what anker soundcore have to fit your spec. They are generally very well regarded at the price conscious end of the market and are known for a flat natural sound (unlike beats)

I’ve got Taotronics SoundSurge BT noise cancelling headphones, very similar to the Anker ‘phones, right down to the price at about £55. I tried both, and sent the Anker ones back, just because I much preferred the overall sound quality of the Taotronics, I felt the Anker ‘phones were too bassy. They have pretty good noise cancelling, I wear them when I walk into town sometimes and they do a pretty good job with all the passing traffic. Also, they have a 3.5mm socket, and you can plug them into a phone if the battery fails, and they’ll still function only without the noise cancelling.
I bought a Lightning to 3.5mm cable for about £7, and they work really well, which is more than can be said for both the Apple and B&W P7 ‘phones, both of which have a 3.5mm socket, and neither will function with a cable should the battery go flat! Which I find inexplicable.

If you can stretch the budget just a tad, then these Anker NC ‘phones might be what you’re looking for, and they have a 3.5mm socket, and it appears they’ll function with a flat battery via the cable.

If it wasn’t over ear I’d have suggested Earfun Pro (bad name, good head phone).

What HFi 5* review and presently £65 on that Amazon place.  Decent noise cancelling.

I like mine - does it have to be over ear?

Bose QC 35 II

Expensive. Really really good. Been bulletproof for me - I've had them 4 years now, lots (lots) of use.

Left them out overnight in the pouring rain once. Brought them in, let them dry out for a week. Turned them on.

Still working 🙂

Sound quality is great. Noise cancelling is great. Comfort is great.
