You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Sorry our friendly local computer expert has been inconsiderate enough to go on holiday 2 days before our laptop gave up the ghost.
We need a new family laptop which needs to be good enough for basic CAD work (AutoCad) and which will meet the increasing gaming demands of growing kids (We're not looking for a full on gaming set up but as we are unlikely to replace the laptop in the next 6-7 years its worth planning ahead).
So the noddy question: Is it best to go for a laptop with the best processor you can afford (i7) but with integrated graphics or a slightly cheaper processor with a dedicated graphics card?
Thanks
The latter.
That was easy thanks
And get as much memory as you can, 12GB would be a good starting point.
