Sickened by this, let’s deny kids the chance to study and live in a European country. I did the second year of my degree in Finland on an ERASMUS exchange, had such a brilliant year.

If this is a example of what is to come we really are in big trouble.

It's what we wanted as a country.

Go UK.

Makes sense to get rid of it, can't have more little England tories if people are increasing their experiences in other countries.

My sister did a year in Germany as part of her degree to immersed herself in the culture and language... but we don't want to encourage that sort of thing.

I dont think you can get a more perfect example of the absolute stupidity of Brexit

ERASMUS was not and never has been the hot topic of conversation in the queue for Spoons to open this morning. That's where the real voter power is in 21st century Britain. Go us.

It's also a mechanism for overseas students to come to the UK so it makes UK universities suffer too. great.

I thought we had covered this pretty thoroughly in all the other pre-Brexit threads.
Oh well, if you need to vent then get on with it but don't act like this is a bolt from the blue.
It is just another part of the insanity and it may not even be the worst thing to happen to your kids. I'm sure Boris will find a whole bunch of additional ways to screw them over.
