Lightening strike hit our data centre last night. Lots of geeks presumably rushing around to kick start the hamsters. Lots of staff around the country using up their smartphone data allowance......

Hmmmm, I think I know one of the geeks trying to sort your data center presuming there wasn't more than one hit last night.

He was certainly working away very late in to the night last night.

PP - I'd put my tinfoil hat on, but not a good idea in a thunderstorm

Think disaster recovery may have fallen victim to austerity.

Digital by Default not looking so clever now 😉

It's too late.... the civil service has become self aware and realised that the human race is no longer fit to run the country and the politicians have tried to to pull the plug.

It's only a matter of time before someone is sent back in time to try and murder a teenage Farage.

I think it's the same centre that hosts the Nationwide Banking App, saw the news coming in this morning and found my banking app 'down' and assumed the worse - I'd fashioned myself some weapons and dug up the garden to grow crops before I got the e-mail saying it was

LOL - this is what happens when the outsource to the lowest bidder.
Yeah sure we have DR.....please sign here....lighting strike you say? Sorry you didn't specifically specify DR against lighting strike.

There will be a couple of geeks working their tits off and a shed load of managers on a bridge call generating a load of hot air.

Guess what my day has been filled with (as manager of IT geeks).

You can probably guess my e-retail employer from the news.
