Hmm, an album of Nirvana covers? Worth a listen as it's FREE.

Any good (can't listen to it here)
awaits the terminally, dull, predictable 'Nirvana are shit' too cool for school crowd
I'm intrigued enough to download it when I get home. If I remember.
The Vaselines doing Lithium is cool.
Nirvana did most of the stuff perfectly, so hard to say the rest is great so far. (Haven't got to the end yet)
Never heard of any of the bands doing the covers.
Vaselines and Meat Puppets were influences on Kurt. The rest are unknown to me as well. (Amazing huh? 😉 )
[edit]'Polly' has banjo in it 🙂
I thought the first song was terrible! Like the vocals on the 2nd... I'll listen to the rest when I'm home from work... This could be good, or it could be complete ****.

Yeah, its about 50/50. The ones who do it nothing like Nirvana are best.
I like the 'Drain You' band, might have to investigate them
I heard a reggae version of Sliver on 6 music a couple of weeks ago. The DJ said it was from an upcoming Nirvana covers album, but it's not on there. Oddness...
Ta for the linky 🙂
EDIT:
Is that Pinky and Perky singing Come as you Are?
And Fozzy Bear singing the intro to Territorial Pissings...
have you got to have a facebook account to download this or am I being dim?
Yup, FB account needed.
